Matt serves as Senior Manager of marketing for Dell’s After Point of Sale business. In this role, he is responsible for strategic planning, and management of the APOS marketing and online activities that support all Dell customer segments in the United States and Latin America. His team works to understand customer needs, align Dell’s APOS Services, Parts & Upgrades and Ink & Toner offerings with those needs, and communicate Dell’s value proposition to customers through 800 sales representatives, multiple web sites and marketing communications.
Matt is chair of the Marketing Committee on the Board of Directors for the Military Child Education Coalition, a global non-profit with more than 1,000 world-wide members focused on supporting the 1.8 million children of United States military personnel. Matt leads the organization’s brand strategy to build awareness and support of the mission of MCEC which has been recognized by First Lady Laura Bush and governors across the country for its efforts to improve the education support for military children, and by the United States Congress as the Congressional Club Charity of the Year.
Locally, Matt is a member of the Baylor University Business Network steering committee, and teaches brand and advertising strategy in the Executive MBA program. Recently he was a member of the national steering committee for Baylor’s proposal to host the George W. Bush Presidential Library. Matt has an undergraduate degree in communications and a master of business administration degree from Baylor University.
